Joe Gatford

Joe Gatford studied fine art and mixed media at Brighton Art College and the University of Westminster. He is a classically trained portrait artist, obsessed and inspired by fantasy fiction, film, and popular culture. His portraits capture the nostalgic connection between fans and their favourite characters. He is drawn to bold and intense figures, who provoke an emotional reaction from the observer.
